Week 13 – Polishing that pitch
Week 13 flew so quickly and we are only 4 days away from our Demo Day!
Our Bosspac’s T-shirts have been printed and the final slides for the Demo Day pitch have been submitted. We are excited to see what Demo Day brings! This week we had 2 Dragon’s sessions and a Meet and Experience event with the public sector people. Great feedback and last chance to make the pitch and delivery crystal clear.
We also worked hard to put together a proposal for Demo Day panel and government agencies. The proposal together with the pitch will help them to decide whether or not teams should be allowed to enter the next – negotiation phase.
We are so lucky to have great mentors helping us on a regular basis. They inspire us and help to find ways to create opportunities. Their experience and knowledge is valuable for us as a team and we really appreciate their time and effort to support Bosspac on every step!
Our last weekly cohort meeting took a different perspective this week – teams had to pitch slides… of other teams! It was valuable and interesting to hear what people remember from pitches of other teams.
This week we also worked together with government agencies such as MBIE Disputes Resolution team and business.govt.nz as well as IR and ACC. MBIE administrator already knows us by names and it just makes the signing-in process easier in the Stout St building.
This week we also learnt more about how Angel HQ works and how investors from the private sector look at companies to invest.
What we learnt this week:
- Pitching takes a lot of practice.
- When you put everything you’ve done in 13 weeks on 7 pages, it looks quite good!
- We can be proud on the Demo Day of what we’ve achieved and done in the 13 weeks.
Thank you so much, everyone, for your support! See you on the Demo Day and Bosspac is very excited to share the pitch to a wider audience. Have a wonderful week!
