Week 8 – Half-way there
Week 8 flew and we didn’t notice how quickly the days disappeared (is it because of the third short week in a row?). The short week allowed Bosspac to finish the third iteration of the prototype that lets people click through it and interact with it on a completely different level.
We believe that building a prototype with which people can interact (instead of just presenting them with a demo version) will let us gain new insights and learnings for things to improve.
We continued conversations with government agencies and it is great to see that they support us and are keen to help us with every step. We and government agencies see that there are synergies and together we can make life easier for self-employed people.
We also had lunch where we received tips about the way accelerator teams could structure themselves and some red flags to be aware of (the view from Chapman Tripp’ s office is amazing!).
This week we celebrated half-way because we had mid programme review where we presented our progress to the R9 team and received feedback for improvements and things to do next. After the presentations, we dressed like sailors and went to Creative HQ where we competed with other teams from Creative HQ. It was a lot of fun, it was nice to meet teams from Fintech Accelerator and other people based in the hub.
What we learnt this week:
- Finding customers at the right time is the key (when they are happy to make a change).
- Keeping clients engaged with your platform and keep them returning is important.
- Always remember to have proper rest when working hard and longer hours.
What’s next? We are excited to learn more from our customers and government agencies in our next prototyping sessions!
